Thanks to a class I took during my senior year at college, I was able to receive an intern position with RPI's Marketing and Media Relations
Office. My internship introduced me to an unfamiliar style of writing--the news article and the press release--both
of which were very intimidating in the beginning. During my tenure, I wrote a few articles and many press releases. I am happy to say that
two of my articles, the two that appear below, were published in The Review. In order to write both articles, it was necessary for me to interview those
involved. I can honestly say that interviewing people was the most difficult aspect of my internship and, while I did begin to enjoy the
interviews required for the articles, Lois Lane I am not.
